Cottages and Park Models

The Birches offers six (6) housekeeping cottages for the convenience of those who enjoy the amenities and atmosphere of the campground, but do not own an RV. Most cottages are located along the cove, under tall hemlock and pine trees. Cottages #1, 5 & 6 have fieldstone fireplaces & either gas or electric heat. No pets allowed in these units, unless pre-confirmed by the office.

We also offer five (5) Park Model trailers; these units are 12' wide with pitched roofs and all sleep a minimum of 4 adults. 

All cottages and Park Models offer kitchens and baths with showers, and are equipped with kitchen necessities. All units sleep four to six people. Cottage occupancy will not exceed the number beds available in a given unit. Please bring sleeping bags or bed linens, towels and pillows.

All units include a picnic table and fire ring.  Cottage rental DOES NOT include boat docking.
All Rental Units are available from Saturday to Saturday throughout the summer.
2 night minimum reservations accepted Spring and Fall;
3 night minimum stay required for Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends.

COTTAGE and PARK MODEL CHECK-IN is at 2:00 pm.
COTTAGE and PARK MODEL CHECK-OUT is by 10:00 am.

Cottage 1

This cottage features a knotty pine interior, cathedral ceilings and a fieldstone fireplace.  It offers a large kitchen with a breakfast bar; two bedrooms and a loft, accessible by ladder only.  The cottage sleeps five comfortably, with a double bed in the Master bedroom, a single bed in the second bedroom, two twin beds in the loft, and a futon in the living room.  It has electric heat and the beautiful fieldstone fireplace.  It also offers a large deck on the rear of the cottage, overlooking the cove and facing the west toward the sunset.

This cottage is rustic, with two bedrooms, sleeping four people.  It offers a newer kitchen, built in 2002, and a claw-foot bathtub in the bathroom.

This is our smallest cottage, with one bedroom and a set of sturdy bunkbeds in the living area.  It is rustic, with a newer kitchen built in 2002.  The front deck faces the cove and is located in quite possibly the most quiet spot in the campground.

This is a large, rusticd cottage with a deck just steps from the cove.  It offers two bedrooms and sleeps six people.
   
Cottage 5
This is our most popular cottage, offering unobstructed views of the lake.  While rustic, it offers a fieldstone fireplace, a newer bath and kitchen constructed in 1999; two bedrooms and a loft accessible by stairs.  It sleeps seven comfortably, and has a propane-fired gas heater.

This cottage is also very popular, located just steps from the lake.  It is rustic, with a fieldstone fireplace in the living room.  It offers two bedrooms, sleeping six people comfortably.  It also has a propane heater, and great views of Lake Cobbosseecontee!

Park Models 7 and 8
These are the newest units in the campground sitting side-by-side, and identical in interior layout.  These units are located on the waterfront.  They offer a master bedroom with queen-sized bed, a bunk room for two, and a futon in the living area.  The bathroom has a house-type flush toilet and a fiberglass tub/shower unit.  The kitchen appliances include a microwave.  And a cozy swing awaits you on the front porch!
Park Models 9, 10, 11, and 12
Park models 9, 10 , 11 and 12 are equipped with kithen, bath, and sleep four to six people.  All are just a hop, skip and a jump from the beach, the lodge and the store.  Please bring your sheets, pillows, blankets and towels.
